The NYS DMV Approved 5 Hour Pre-Licensing Course
Before a driver can schedule a road test, they must complete the
5 Hour Pre-Licensing Course.
This course will help new drivers to learn basic rules of the road and teach them how to handle different driving situations. By the end of the course, students will be able to:
•Understand basic traffic rules and their reasons
•Know how to handle various situations on the road
•Understand how different factors affect their driving
•Understand the effects of alcohol and other drugs on driving ability
The cost for the 5 Hour Pre-Licensing Course is $35.00
