Motorcycle Lesson Closed Course Rates
ALL LESSONS ARE PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
1 hour lesson with motorcycle and safety gear included is $65.00
Lessons are taught in a parking lot on a 125cc - 250cc motorcycle.The trainers have a seat height at 26.6" - 30" and weigh about 300lbs .
We will move through riding lessons at your level of ability. Everyone will learn at a different pace so it's hard to answer how many lessons you will need to learn to ride a motorcycle.
Average amount would be 4 to 5 lessons with some students doing less/more based on ability.You then need to get a bike that fits YOU and safely continue to practice what you have learned.
Starting very early on weekends when traffic is minimal will help you get accustom to riding on the streets.
Or having an experienced rider ride your bike to a parking lot where you can continue practicing till you feel comfortable to go on the road.
To get your motorcycle permit go to any DMV and take the written test.An appointment is not necessary for the written test. I will prepare you and show you what you need to do for the road test. It requires you to show skills you have learned and have control of the motorcycle at a very slow speed. Balance is a key to passing.
Once you have prepared for the road test all you need to do is make an appointment with DMV.It takes less then 15 minutes to take the actual test.
You can start taking lessons without a permit. I will give you a copy of the DMV book to start reading for your written test.
